We greens know that we do not have to settle for one of the duopoly candidates foistered on us every 4 years. They offer no real differences. They both support whatever their corporate overlords demand; endless wars fought for no other reason than to prop up the defense industry and the oil industry, destruction of the economy at the expense of short term profits in the form of stock buy backs, gutting of any semblance of a social safety net for the overwhelming majority of citizens that live one paycheck from serious financial trouble.
We greens know we have options, but to make them viable we have to fight for them. They won’t be handed over to us. Howie is a person and is running the type of campaign that understands how things are but also has a plan to get is to where things should be. Whether it’s his (the original) Green New Deal, Healthcare for All run by community health boards, intelligently decreasing the nuclear threat we currently find ourselves under, worse than any other time in history save the Cuban Missile Crisis and how to put our economy to work to avoid a climate catastrophe.
